Structure of the Practice
Most patients seen in this practice are private patients. Patients requiring surgery have their operations carried out in the following locations:
- In Dr. Bowler’s rooms where minor procedures are performed under local anaesthesia often with the use of intravenous sedation.
- In a private hospital where more difficult cases or more extensive surgery is undertaken under general anaesthesia (see links below).
- In selected cases, treatment for major surgery may be arranged at the John Hunter Hospital.
