Referrals

Patients are referred from a wide variety of clinicians including general dentists, family doctors and dental specialists (for example orthodontists) as well as other surgeons who recognise the specialised training required for the treatment of conditions involving the mouth, jaws and maxillofacial region. Oral and maxillofacial surgeons do not practise any other form of medicine or dentistry and are required to limit their practise to surgery before being registered as a specialist by the Dental Board of New South Wales. Dr. Bowler is also registered as a specialist in Queensland and New Zealand.
